The Village of Ladd is pleased to announce a new service—online and mobile utility payments. Customers can pay from anywhere, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. To pay, log onto the Village of Ladd’s website www.vil.ladd.il.us and choose the "Pay Utility Bill" option from the Main Menu or download the “PSN Payments” app. Customers can make a credit/debit card or checking/savings account payment. Customers will also be able to make an immediate payment, schedule a payment or set up Auto-Pay and not have to worry about making a payment for each bill.
To cover costs charged by payment processors and credit card companies, a convenience fee of $1.00 for check/savings payments and 2.75% (plus 50¢ if under $100) for credit/debit card payments has been instituted. The Village does not receive any revenue from these fees.
Security of online information is always a concern, so that was a top consideration when looking for a company to provide online and phone payments, . Payment Service Network (PSN) has attained Level 1 Certification by the Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), the highest degree of security awarded by the industry.
The mobile “PSN Payments” App is available from the App Store or Google Play. If customers have any questions, they can call PSN directly, toll free at 1-866-917-7368.
Ladd's 125th Anniversary Committee will meet at 7:00pm on Monday, July 28, 2014, in Ladd's Community Center. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend.
Effective July 1, 2014, the Village Clerk's office hours have increased from 27 to 40.5 per week. The office is now open from 8:00am to noon and 1:00 to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday and from 9:00am to noon on Saturday.
